Stonewall Orchard Golf Club offers lessons for players of all abilities and ages. Lessons can be tailored for your specific needs or will cover a variety of skills: Short Game, Full Swing , Course Management etc.  Whether your goal is to take up the game or master it, our PGA Professionals are ready to make it happen.

60 Minute Lesson Rate: $120   (Juniors 16 & Under – rate available upon request)

Kevin Rafferty is our Director of Instruction at Stonewall Orchard. Kevin grew up in Highland Park and has been teaching in the area for over 35 years – being a PGA Member for over 28 years. He has held Golf Professional positions at McHenry CC, Flossmoor CC, Skokie CC and Golf Galaxy among others. 

Kevin believes that all golfers have a unique swing but there are basics and fundamentals that must be solid to give you the best chance to create a repeatable move leading to more enjoyment. He has been helping adults (both male and female) and juniors in his career helping them improve to reach their goals. 

Notable achievements:

  • completed in NCAA golf Division III
  • played in numerous Illinois Opens 
  • Played in the 2007 and 2010 PGA Club Professional Championship
  • Qualified to the 2020 PGA Senior Club Professional Championship 

Jeff Pajula, Head Golf Professional, PGA

Jeff, a current 29-year member of the PGA, grew up in northern Wisconsin and has been deeply involved with golf since since he was young.  After graduating from the Professional Golf Management program at Ferris State University and playing for the golf team for 4 years, Jeff worked at multiple (public and private) clubs in the Minneapolis and the Chicagoland area.  After 5 years as the First Assistant Professional at Cantigny Golf in Wheaton IL, Jeff began his Head Golf Professional journey at Stonewall Orchard in 1999 as the course was being built.  Jeff thoroughly enjoys the day-to-day operations, teaching, and often plays in Illinois PGA tournaments including 2 National PGA Professional Championships.
